All throughout the month of August the TT Star Pro Series is live from Bosaarium-Saarland Germany, with alternating weeks of Men's and Women's events at the beginning of each week. The TT Star Pro Series features an “Everyone against Everyone” format, with the best of five. There are eight participants in each match, 2 groups of either eight men or eight women. How the points are awarded is, the first place winner receives 800 points, and it goes down by 100 each place after that, with second place receiving 700, third receiving 600, fourth getting 500, and so on, down until the 8th placed player in the group, who receives just 100 points.
This week will be the women's series, with gameplay on Monday, August 3rd and Tuesday, August 4th. The matches will continue the following week, when the men play on Wednesday and Thursday, then its back to the women for Monday the 17th and Tuesday the 18th, with the final matches in August again happening on Monday and Tuesday, the 24th and 25th.
